EUnetCCC and BBMRI Join Forces to Strengthen Cancer Research Ecosystems
Last updated: 09.07.2025We are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership between EUnetCCC and BBMRI-ERIC, marking a significant step forward in advancing cancer research and biobanking across Europe.
All participants agreed that forming a strategic partnership would be highly beneficial for both organisations to combine their expertise, share valuable resources, and align their efforts towards common goals in cancer research and biobanking. A Memorandum of Understanding is currently being prepared to formalise this collaboration.
Building synergies for cancer research
Leaders from EUnetCCC WP8, including task leads for Cancer Research (Task 8.2.3) and Precision Cancer Diagnostics (Task 8.2.4), recently engaged in a constructive discussion with delegates from with delegates from Biobanking and BioMolecular resources Research Infrastructure - European Research Infrastructure Consortium (BBMRI-ERIC) and the associated partner canSERV Consortium to identify opportunities for strategic collaboration and to leverage synergies between the two organisations.
