EU Network of Comprehensive Cancer Centres Extends First Call for Interest Deadline to 31 March 2026
The European Network of Comprehensive Cancer Centres has officially extended the deadline for its First Call for Interest to join the EU Network of Comprehensive Cancer Centres.
Prospective members now have until 31 March 2026 to submit their applications.
This extension, coordinated under EUnetCCC Work Package 7 (WP7), aims to ensure broader participation, provide additional support to centres with pending submissions, and ensure a comprehensive representation of consortia within the Network.
Why Has the EU Network of CCCs' Call for Interest Been Extended?
The deadline extension provides several strategic benefits for Comprehensive Cancer Centres (CCCs) and eligible institutions across Europe:
- Additional time for new applicants to prepare and finalise their application documentation.
- Extra support for centres with ongoing submissions, ensuring high-quality and complete applications.
- A clearer overview of consortia representation in the Network, fostering a more inclusive and robust Assembly.
Key Dates for the EU Network of Comprehensive Cancer Centres
Centres interested in joining the EU Network of CCCs should take note of the following milestones:
- First Call for Interest: Open until March 31, 2026 (last date to submit documentation).
- First Meeting of the Interim Network Assembly (online): Scheduled for mid-May 2026.
- Second Call for Interest: Tentatively set for May 1 to June 30, 2026.
- Second Meeting of the Interim Network Assembly (in person):
- Planned for mid-September 2026, where the election of the Interim Network Assembly's President will take place.
Exclusive Opportunity for Participating Cancer Centres
Centres that apply during either the first or second call will be eligible to participate in the election of the Interim Network Assembly's President.
